Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has died at the age of 50, the band has announced.
Taylor was found dead in a hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, South America, where the band was due to play.
The band said it was ‘devastated by the untimely loss.’
No cause of death was immediately announced.

The Foo Fighters had just completed its tour dates in South America and was due to appear at The Grammy’s in April.
Hawkins joined the band in 1997 after the group completed its second album, The Colour and the Shape.
He also co-wrote many of the band’s songs.
