Some passengers set to fly from Dublin Airport may miss their flights and have to re-book.
There have been long delays at check-in, baggage drop and security, causing people to miss holiday flights.
Passengers are advised to ‘allow additional time’ for check-in due to the queues.
About 50,000 passengers were due to depart from the airport on Sunday.
Due to significant queues inside the terminal for check-in, bag drop & security, passengers queueing outside the terminal may not make their flight & may need to contact their airline to rebook. We sincerely apologise for the obvious frustration and inconvenience this may cause.
