In Dungannon, there is a night of stand up and musical comedy from Patrick McDonnell and Joe Rooney, comedian. The event takes place on Thursday, December 12 at the Square Box Theatre, Ranfurly House, Dungannon.
Tickets are £15.
This show is called Further Ted and it brings two of the most memorable characters from Father Ted together for a night of stand-up and musical comedy and a chance to compete in a ‘Lovely Girls’ competition.
You don’t have to be a girl to enter and the winner gets a romantic candle lit night in for one, a luxury cruise in a boat of your own making and a full set of bespoke rubber gloves.
Joe Rooney (Father Damo) and Patrick McDonnell (Eoin McLove) are renowned stand-up comedians with a unique take on Irish society.

Creative Conversation Carrickfergus is an event hosted by Voluntary Arts Ireland. It takes place on November 27. This is part of The International Festival of Words.

There are plenty of festive events to mention including a traditional Christmas at Andrew Jackson Cottage on Saturday, November 30. The cottage will be open from 11am to 3pm for all to enjoy.
The cottage and US Rangers Centre will be traditionally decorated and Carrickfergus Silver Band will perform Christmas carols to get you into the festive spirit.
There will be traditional storytelling and authentic style Christmas decoration making with ginger bread decorating also taking place. Most importantly, you can write to Santa.

On 14 April 1912 the Titanic, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, collided with an iceberg. It was one of the most horrific disasters of the 20th century. 1517 men, women and children lost their lives.
Now, more than 100 years later, Belfast Operatic Company brings a show involving singing and dancing. In 2005 the Belfast Operatic Company staged the Irish premiere of this show, a success they repeated in 2012 for the centenary of the ship’s sinking at a gala performance. The members are bringing the show home to the Titanic Quarter, just a stone’s throw away from where the ship was launched.
Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic The Musical is a production focusing on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers who each boarded with stories and personal ambitions of their own.
It runs from April to May next year and the performances take place at the Titanic centre.

Christmas would not be Christmas without panto at the Grand Opera House.
May McFettridge celebrates her 30th season in pantomime and is joined by star of stage and screen Ben Richards (Footballers Wives, Holby City, Hollyoaks, The Bodyguard in London’s West-End) as well as Britain’s Got Talent favourite Mandy Muden.
Dreaming of a happier life, the beautiful Belle finds herself transported to a cursed castle and held captive by a hideous beast. To her surprise, the castle is full of magical characters placed under a spell by an evil enchantress. Can Belle see beyond the monster and fall in love with her captor before the last petal falls from the enchanted rose? Or will the Beast’s selfishness cost him the world he once knew and the hand of the girl who has melted his heart?
With a cast of 30, Beauty and the Beast promised a great family day or night out.

Meanwhile at the Millennium Forum in Londonderry, it’s Snow White. A magic mirror, a jealous queen, a poisoned apple and the tiniest friends ever imagined – it’s panto time for the north west.
Telling the story of the young princess who finds herself on the run from her wicked stepmother and takes refuge in the forest with seven pint-sized men, this is one of the best-love pantomimes of all time.
Packed with song and dance routines, comedy, and magical special effects, this festive favourite is suitable for the whole family. Featuring William Caulfield and the cast, there will be a special ‘magical’ appearance by Daniel O’Donnell. The shows will run from December 9 to 29.

At the Burnavon in Cookstown, it’s the Christmas celebration concert. This programme of festive entertainment promises something for the whole family. On stage will be some of the groups supported by Mid Ulster District Council’s Arts and Cultural Development Programme, including Cookstown Youth Choir, Cookstown Folk Club and the children from the Traditional Music In Schools Programme. Singer/songwriter, radio and television presenter Malachi Cush will compere and perform on the evening.
