Primark has said there will be no special discounts on stock when it re-opens.
The chain said it cannot afford to discount heavily as this would reduce its profit margins.
It is estimated that Primark lost out on £650m worth of sales for each month it remained closed during the pandemic.
The fast-fashion retailer is preparing to come out of lockdown on June 15 in England, but finance chief John Bason said it has no plans for a clearance sale despite plenty of unsold stock. The stock mainly comprises of non-seasonal goods, plus some excess spring and summer items.
Primark has stores in Belfast, Londonderry, Omagh, Ballymena, Abbey Centre and Lisburn. They are expected to open in late June, pending further guidance.
The company has already reopened over 100 stores in Europe including 32 in Germany, 25 in Spain and 20 in the Netherlands.
It said it had learned lessons from the openings that would implemented in the UK.
