A man aged in his 30s has been stabbed in the leg in Ballymena.
The incident happened in Staffa Drive in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 31 August).
A man aged in his 30s was approached by a man who proceeded to assault him and stab him in the leg.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 66 31/08/21.
