Children as young as 12 threw eggs at houses with one damaging a car in the Greystone estate in Antrim at the weekend.
Police say their intended target was probably a PSNI vehicle.
And they’re warning parents to be wary of where their children are at all times.
“Thankfully our vehicle was not damaged but a member of the local community was not so lucky. They now have a bill to fix damage to their car.
“Time to check what your little cherubs have been up to. Are they running the risk of obtaining a criminal record even at this early stage of their life?” said a PSNI spokesperson.
“Make sure you know where you child is and what they are doing. Better you find out before we do, so speak to your kids before we have to.”

Also over the weekend, derogatory slurs were scrawled across the front and side of a house at Bridge Road, in Monkstown, Co Antrim.
Paint had been daubed over the front of the house, and a rock had been thrown through the window.
The paint was still wet when police came across the incident while on patrol.
