Around 400 jobs are to be cut across Primark’s UK stores in an overhaul of its management team.
The retailer is owned by Associated British Foods.
A consultation has been launched with affected staff in relation to the plans to simplify the structure.
Primark said the move aims to ‘provide clearer accountability, greater flexibility and more management support on the shop floor.’
The fast fashion chain employs 29,000 staff in across 191 stores.
The move will see around 400 fewer retail managers.
