Santa has begun his deliveries to millions of homes around the world.
It’s the busiest time of year for Santa and his teams of elves and reindeer who have spent the past few months sewing, carving out and creating toys, games and gaming consoles for the millions of children.
Children love to count down the days until Christmas, eagerly awaiting the delivery of their sacks of presents from Santa Claus.
And don’t forget that children and adults can follow Santa’s journey as he delivers gifts around the globe using the North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) and Google’s Santa trackers.
Once he has made his lists with the help of his elves, they will be sent to the quality control department for verification.
Then Santa will set off on his hi-tech sleigh with his reindeer, travelling an estimated 510,000,000km on Christmas Eve – approximately 1,800 miles per second.
A spokesperson for Santa told South Antrim Vox: “It’s been a busy year for the big man. The elves have been busy so they are looking forward to putting their feet up for a few weeks before the mayhem begins again for 2019.
“We hope the children have remembered to leave out a mince pie or a biscuit and a cup of tea for Santa. The reindeer too will be thirsty, and they appreciate some water.”
