A man recovering from surgery woke up to find a cat snuggling up with him – but he doesn’t own a cat.
MP Andrew Falloon’s father was recovering from his operation on the sofa. After his wife left the house, leaving the door slightly ajar, Mr Falloon’s father was found asleep with a cat resting on him.
Andrew Falloon is the MP for Mid and South Canterbury in New Zealand. The photo has prompted a flurry of comments from people pointing out that the cat now owns him.
