A caravan and a house have been gutted in an arson attack in Kildress, between Cookstown and Omagh.
A second house nearby also suffered smoke damage in the blaze which broke out around 10pm last night.
Police are treating this incident as arson endangering life.
Detectives in Mid Ulster investigating the blaze are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Robinson said: “We received a report shortly after 10:05pm that a caravan located in the Kildress Terrace area was on fire and that the blaze had spread to a house close by.
“Both the caravan and house were gutted as a result of the blaze.
“I want to appeal to anyone who was in the area, between 10pm and 10:05pm and saw what happened, or who has information which may assist our investigation to call detectives in Mid Ulster on the non emergency number 101, quoting reference 1400 of 21/03/19,” added Detective Sergeant Robinson.
