A mobile phone, cash and cards were stolen from a number of handbags while parishioners were at a church service in Lisburn.
It is believed these incidents occurred sometime between 11.30am and 12.40pm on Sunday (24 March).
Police are appealing for information following the report of the burglary at the church in the Church Lane area.
Constable Moore would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area of Church Lane between these times to contact them at Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 668 24/03/19.
Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
