Applegreen is following the lead taken by other chains and is now offering customers a vegan sausage roll.
The roll combines soya beans with chickpeas, herbs and spices and it’s all wrapped up in a flaky puff pastry.
The vegan sausage rolls cost €1 each and the offer is available from today (Monday, April 29) until Sunday May 19.

While it’s not available in Northern Ireland yet, vegans are already planning trips across the border to see if it lives up to its nearest rival – Gregg’s. Not put off by the controversy that affected Gregg’s, Applegreen is not to be outdone.
