A number of masked men reportedly assaulted an occupant at a house in the Ballyfore Walk area of Ballyduff in Newtownabbey.
The aggravated burglary is alleged to have occurred at around 11:30pm on Wednesday (19 June).
Detectives in Antrim are appealing for information.
It is reported that a number of masked men attacked a house in the area and one of the occupants was assaulted.
