Protesters gathered yesterday near the Houses of Parliament to protest against the government’s move to suspend Parliament in the run up to Brexit.
Other demonstrations took place outside Downing Street and in cities across the UK.
There were also demonstrations in Edinburgh, Cardiff, Manchester, Bristol, Cambridge and Durham after the Queen approved an order that will see Parliament suspended for more than a month.
