Schools in Northern Ireland will close for at least 16 weeks in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19, First Minister Arlene Foster has said.
The first minister was speaking following a meeting between senior ministers from the NI Executive and the Irish government.
Lurgan Model Primary School will close its doors this week and will re-open, depending on the situation, on March 23.

Schools across Northern Ireland are making preparations to conduct lessons via Google Classroom, when closures come into effect.
Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill has re-iterated the necessity for schools to be closed immediately, in line with the Republic of Ireland.
Jet2 flights were turned around mid-air earlier today as the airline cancelled all flights to mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands because of the spread of coronavirus. Flights from Belfast International Airport to Fuerteventura, Las Palmas and Lanzarote were cancelled.
