AQE has postponed the date pupils can start to register for its transfer tests.
Registration for P6 pupils in schools across Northern Ireland was due to open on Wednesday (29 April) but this has now been put back until Thursday 14 May.
The decision was made due to the uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Association for Quality Education also said it was moving to an online application process this year.
Test provider Post Primary Transfer Consortium (PPTC) said it has been working closely with its entrance assessment provider, GL Assessment, to decide on the postponing of the registration process.
