A man has been arrested at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast after he allegedly kicked a nurse in the face.
He’s also accused of threatening two ambulance paramedics while they tended to his facial injuries, sustained during an earlier altercation.
Police were called to reportedly restrain the man to enable him to be treated by staff.
The man was also further arrested on suspicion of a number of drug offences and taken to Musgrave custody suite.
A search of his premises was also carried out during which a large quantity of ready to go bags of suspected cannabis were uncovered along with other drug paraphernalia.
