Police say shots were fired at a property in the Forthriver Crescent area of north Belfast during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 13 June).
No one was injured in the incident that happened sometime between 3am and 3:30am.
Damage was caused to a window.
The investigation continues and police are working to establish a motive for this ‘reckless attack’, which they say could have had devastating consequences.
Detective Sergeant O’Flaherty is appealing for witnesses.
