A further person has died as a result of COVID-19.
There are 77 new cases, according to the Department of Health.
Meanwhile, reusable face masks will be provided to those 80,000 pupils in Northern Ireland who are entitled to free transport.
Each pupil will receive a pack containing 10 reusable masks.
Elsewhere, eight teenagers who travelled to the UK from Crete have tested positive for COVID-19.
The teens were on a Wizz Air flight from Heraklion to Luton on 25 August.
The airline said 212 people were on the flight but it had ‘informed the relevant health authorities.’
