And the roll-out of a vaccination for those at most risk from the coronavirus could begin by the end of the year, according to Robin Swann, the health minister.
He said preliminary analysis showed that the vaccine can prevent the virus from developing in more than 90% of people. Their vaccine was tested on over 43,000 people in six countries. No safety concerns were raised from the vaccine which has been developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.
