The living room of a house has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack in Carrickfergus.
The incident happened at a house in the Prospect Park area this morning (Saturday 16 July) at around 12:40am.
Detective Sergeant Crothers said police received a report that a petrol bomb had been thrown at the property.
He said it smashed the living room window and also caused damage to the living room.
“No one was injured during the incident, and the item was taken away from the scene for further examination.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area, or who may have dash cam or CCTV footage that could assist with our enquiries, to contact detectives on 101, and quote reference number 61 of 16/07/22,” he added.
