King Charles and the Queen Consort attended a service at St Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast to honour the late Queen.
The couple arrived at Belfast City Airport shortly before noon.
Well wishers greeted the king as he arrived in Hillsborough.
He is the first king to visit Northern Ireland for almost 80 years.
