A Ballyclare resident was left badly shaken following a burglary on Wednesday evening (28 October).
Two masked men, wearing dark clothing, entered a house in the Springhill Meadows area at approximately 9.20pm.
The men, one of whom may have been armed with a knife, entered the property via the rear door and threatened the resident before searching the house.
They left the property a short time later empty handed, making off in the direction of the Hillhead Road. Police say the resident was not injured but had been left badly shaken.
Detective Inspector Lenaghan said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives using our witness appeal form at https://reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting reference 1603 28/10/26.
