A man has suffered puncture wounds after being attacked by a gang of men armed with nail studded bats in Larne.
A masked gang forced their way into the flat in Upper Waterloo Road on Monday at around 10pm.
The victim sustained a head injury and a number of puncture wounds to his body which required hospital treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing and detectives are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact them in Ballymena.
