Amazon is set to hike its Prime prices due to ‘increased inflation and operation costs.’
From 15 September, the monthly membership price increases from £7.99 to £8.99, and annual membership from £79 to £95.
If you can afford to switch to annual payments now, you can get next year’s services for £79.
Prime offers free unlimited next day delivery, entertainment and live sports streaming.
A spokesperson for Amazon said: “With increased inflation and operating costs in the UK continuing to rise, we will change the price of Prime.”
Netflix also recently raised its charges.
