Amen! It’s fair times for Fairhill as two new stores spring in

Two new retailers have sprung into the Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena in time for spring.

Amen Shoes and Toytown will open as the 30th anniversary of the centre approaches.

In addition to its two new stores, the Arcadia Group which includes Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Burtons and Wallis, has renewed its lease at the centre for a further three years.

The centre is home to almost 50 retail units and eateries – and it’s good news as the footfall figures for the year to date show an increase of almost 3% on the same period last year.

Amen Shoes, a favourite with Boyzone’s Shane Lynch, will showcase its range of top leather shoes brands when it opens its doors of the second store later this month.

And with a number of stores across the UK, one of the largest independent toy retailers, Toytown has chosen Fairhill Shopping Centre as its new location in Ballymena, moving from Church Street.

Sharon Barbour, Marketing Assistant for ToyTown said they are delighted to be part of the Fairhill Shopping Centre.

“We are only too happy with the reception we have received, and with the excellent footfall figures the centre is seeing, we are positive that Toytown will thrive in its new premises,” she added.

And Natalie Jackson, the Fairhill Centre Manager said 2019 is off to a flying start.

“I am very proud of what the centre has achieved this year to date and the fact that a number of our anchor tenants are continuing to work with us, with the addition of new stores, is a testament to the entire team at Fairhill,” she added.
