Ards pastor making progress following Covid-19 diagnosis

The pastor from Newtownards who has been in intensive care after developing covid-19 is making good progress.

Mark McClurg of Ards Elim Church has been in the intensive care unit in the Ulster Hospital since contracting the coronavirus last week.

His family is appealing to people to STAY AT HOME and practice social distancing to prevent others from ending up in same position.

It will be a very long road to recovery but every good hour means so much at this stage.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support.

Can we remind everyone to follow NHS and Government advice to social distance and STAY HOME. We want to do all we can to reduce the impact of this virus and following this advice will SAVE LIVES.

Stay Safe, Stay Strong, Stay in Prayer, Stay Home! his family said.

A total of 148 people in Northern Ireland have been affected so far.
