Ballyclare Secondary School in Co Antrim is closed today (Monday) due to ‘suspected Covid-19 among staff.’
The school contacted parents last night to inform them.
The news comes as Ballyclare Primary School confirmed that a parent of a child at the school is in hospital, confirmed as having Covid-19.
“Please pray for this family who have much on their minds at present. In a school of our size this was an inevitable occurrence but one we have to be prepared for in these critical times,” the school said in a statement.
