The Bank of Ireland is cutting its number of branches in Northern Ireland from 28 to 13.
The news announced today is the result of changes in how banking operates.
The branches set to close in Northern Ireland are:
Ballymena
Banbridge
Crossmaglen
Ormeau Road, Belfast
Lisburn Road, Belfast
University Road, Belfast
Strand Road, Londonderry
Dungannon
Downpatrick
Keady
Limavady
Lisnaskea
Lisburn
Portadown
Strabane
Over 100 branches will be shut across the island of Ireland.
Chief Executive Francesca McDonagh said the bank’s UK head office will also shift from London to Belfast.
The closures will affect the roles of about 120 staff in Northern Ireland – however ‘no compulsory redundancies are involved,’ said Ian McLaughlin, Chief Executive of Bank of Ireland UK.
