Beak-a-boo! Without feather ado, supervet saves the swan

This swan tried to get the better of world-class orthopaedic-neuro veterinary surgeon Professor Noel Fitzpatrick.

While on his way to an interview in Dublin, the Professor came across a seemingly confused swan who was stranded in the middle of a busy main road.

Professor Fitzpatrick was only too happy to help, and with his expertise, what better man for the job?

He has posted a clip of the rescue on his Twitter in which he returns the swan to the water, and it has been liked and shared thousands of times.

Having experienced many swan rescues down the years I knew I could help… mission accomplished…now happy and safe at home x

Professor Fitzpatrick is the managing director of one of the largest veterinary referral centres in the UK, Fitzpatrick Referrals.
