Online fashion retailer Boohoo is set to snap up the online businesses of Oasis and Warehouse in a deal worth £5.25m.
In April, Oasis and Warehouse went into administration with the loss of around 1,800 jobs.
Manchester-based Boohoo’s online sales rose by 45% in the three months to May.
This was due to the rise in sales of leisurewear during lockdown.
Worldwide sales reached £368m in the quarter to May.
In the UK, which makes up half its total revenue, sales were up around 30% to £183m.
Boohoo also owns PLT and Nasty Gal and has previously purchased MissPap, Karen Millen and Coast.
