BTS comeback concert set for March 21

Seoul is gearing up for a surge of international visitors as BTS’ comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square sends demand for hotels into overdrive.

Hotels in the city centre are already booking up, and searches for trips to Seoul have soared. Around 200,000 tourists are set to arrive in Korea to enjoy the show.

The band is set to perform a free concert on March 21, just one day after the release of their fifth studio album, Arirang. The album takes its name from Korea’s most iconic folk song.

Arirang will mark BTS’ fifth studio album. The record will feature 14 tracks.

Arirang is intended as a symbolic representation of the emotions the group hopes to convey through the album.
