Second World War veteran Captain Sir Tom Moore has died aged 100.
His family made the announcement this afternoon.
Captain Sir Tom contracted COVID-19 and was receiving in hospital being treated for pneumonia.
He raised more than £30m for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden.
