A patient and five staff members on a cardiology ward in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital have tested positive for COVID-19.
That’s according to BBC News NI.
The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust said one patient was self-isolating.
Meanwhile, Northern Ireland is on course for 1,000 positive cases each day within weeks, according to senior medics.
Professor Ian Young said that the number of cases is ‘doubling around every nine to ten days.’
