A Yorkshire Terrier dog which is on medication has been stolen from outside a shop in Omagh.
Rascal, who is 12-years-old, was taken from Scarffe’s Entry this afternoon (Tuesday) at about 2pm.
The dog was tied up outside a shop and when the owner returned, it had disappeared.
CCTV shows three women taking Rascal.
They are believed to have got into a blue Toyota Avensis, according to police.
Police would like the help of the public in tracing the dog.
“If you saw a blue car with a Yorkshire Terrier in it please give us a call on 101 and quote reference CC957 of December 18,” said a police spokesperson.
“Poor Rascal is on medication for breathing problems and his owners are obviously devastated and keen to get him home.
“If you have any information please get in contact via 101 quoting reference 957 of 18/12/18 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111,” added a police spokesperson.
