Fans have been binge watching the show with many refusing to view without the lights on. But the appetite is definitely there for a second series.
It’s been announced that this will be based on Henry James’ ghost story The Turn of the Screw.
The first season of the series, which was created and directed by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game), was based on Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name.
The Haunting of Hill House used the novel as the inspiration for a story about the Crain family, set in two different time periods.
