A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries following an assault in Ballymena in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
The incident occurred in the Lanntara area just after midnight.
Police say there was an altercation outside a house in the area, but it’s not known how many people were involved.
Sergeant Adams said enquiries are continuing and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 6 25/2/19.
