Enhypen’s Heeseung is set to launch his solo career next month under the new stage name Evan, according to Belift Lab.
He is currently preparing new music with plans to release it in June, a Belift Lab representative said.
The announcement comes three months after his departure from the popular group Enhypen. In March, the artist said he would leave the group due to differences in musical direction and pursue activities as a solo musician.
Since debuting with Enhypen in 2020, Heeseung has earned recognition as a versatile performer praised for his vocals, rap skills and commanding stage presence. He has also demonstrated strong songwriting and production talents, establishing himself as a promising singer-songwriter.
Following his solo debut, Evan is expected to begin promotional performances both in Korea and overseas. He is scheduled to appear at the Busan One Asia Festival on June 28, before heading to KCON LA 2026.
The name “Evan” captures an alternate dimension of his identity and represents the essence of his musical artistry, according to Belift. Through this persona, he aims to share a sound shaped entirely by his own unique colour and emotional depth.
