‘Eye’ don’t believe it – Kuwait shop caught sticking googly eyes on fresh fish

There’s something fishy going on here – but can you spot the problem in the photograph?

A store in Kuwait has reportedly been shut down after its owners allegedly affixed googly eyes to fish in a bid to make them appear fresher for customers.


Pictures of one of the fish, which were posted to Twitter by the Al Bayan newspaper at the weekend, gave readers food for thought.

And it’s encouraged creative social media folks to come up with some fishy puns….
