Labour’s has pledged to provide free broadband to every home and business in the UK.

The party says the plan will be paid for by taxing multinational firms such as Amazon, Facebook and Google.

Despite being attractive to voters, the issue raises many questions about the feasibility of providing this service free of charge.

Jeremy Corbyn said the plan would end poor internet coverage and save homes roughly £30 a month.
