A granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy died yesterday (Thursday) from a reported overdose.
Saoirse Kennedy Hill who was 22 passed away at the family compound in Cape Cod.
She was the daughter of Courtney Kennedy Hill.
“Our hearts are shattered by the loss of our beloved Saoirse,” the Kennedy family said in a statement. “Her life was filled with hope, promise and love.”
She had written about her struggles with depression after being sexually assaulted while at high school.
Saoirse’s death is the latest tragedy to hit the family.
