Blue Peter is celebrating its 60th birthday. And to mark the occasion, fans are enjoying a trip down memory lane to the days of entertainment, education and laughter.
The programme made its debut in October 1958. More than 5,000 episodes have been broadcast, with its most famous hosts including John Noakes, Peter Purves, Janet Ellis and Anthea Turner.
