Hearing aid support returns for Northern Health and Social Care Trust area

Since March 2020 the RNID has had to close down all the Hearing Aid Support Sessions in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As restrictions have eased, these vital support sessions are up and running again.

However some rural and vulnerable service users may be unaware of this.

Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) is a national charity organisation in partnership with the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Board, supporting the deaf community, hard of hearing, hearing aid users and those who live with tinnitus.

RNID’s Hearing Aid User Support Service (HAUSS) is a free service offered to all NHS hearing aid users to support their maintenance, and give advice and support, signposting to other services within the NHS.
