Picture this – a beige watery cup of tea – not quite what you had in mind when you boiled the kettle and put the bag in the cup.
Tea drinker Joel Golby insists that the tea bag must steep for a short period to allow the flavour to come forth.
But everyone has a different opinion when it comes to a good cup of tea.
simply can’t trust people who don’t leave the tea bag to steep in the cup for a bit. you think you can get enough depth of flavour just by squashing it a lot with the back of a teaspoon? the arrogance. the ego. leave the room and walk away from it
