Jobs at risk as Topshop group on brink of collapse

Sir Philip Green’s high street empire Arcadia Group could fall into administration as soon as next week, putting 15,000 jobs at risk.

That’s according to Sky News.

Sky News reports that the Arcadia Group, which owns TopShop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins, is preparing to appoint administrators from Deloitte.

Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, Miss Selfridge, Evans, Wallis and Outfit will be affected by this move.

Sir Philip Green bought the high street group for £850million in 2002.

He had asked lenders for help after lockdown meant sales plummeted.
