The Queen has appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace following the afternoon pageant.
The royal standard was raised above the palace, which signalled that the Queen was in the building. The Queen had to pull out of a number of events during the jubilee celebrations but it was hoped that the Monarch would make a public appearance.
The Queen appeared with senior royals including Prince Charles.
The National Anthem was performed to mark her appearance.
Dressed in green, Her Majesty smiled and waved to the crowd before heading back inside the palace.
