Bushfires claimed the lives of at least eight people in Australia this week, with others remaining unaccounted for.
The fires have destroyed more than 200 homes.
Thousands are sheltering on beaches as fires tear through Victoria and New South Wales.
The fire service says firefighters have been unable to reach some people in remote areas.
The Daily Mail is also reporting that a farmer had to shoot 20 cows that were badly burned in the bushfires.
