A man sustained a head injury when an intruder armed with a knife broke into a flat in Antrim.
The aggravated burglary happened at Corbally Avenue, on Saturday 9 October at around 5pm.
Police say a man forced entry through the front door and struck the male occupant of the flat a number of times.
“The occupant managed to escape from the flat but sustained an injury to the back of his head as a result of the incident which later required treatment at hospital,” said a police spokesperson.
The intruder is described as being around 6ft 4” tall, and he was wearing a dark coloured track suit. He is believed to have been carrying a knife.
