A 26-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his stomach after he was attacked by three men in west Belfast last night.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm in the Woodbourne Crescent area of the city.
The man’s condition is described as stable.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the stabbing.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 17-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. He was interviewed and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that can assist with the investigation to contact them in Musgrave Police Station on 101 quoting reference 1322 02/05/20.
