A man was treated in hospital for injuries following a fight on the Ormeau Embankment in Belfast on Monday evening (August 5).
Police received a report of two men in a fight at around 7:20pm.
“One man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening,” said Detective Inspector Kerry Brennan.
And police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the fight to come forward.
“Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries to contact detectives in Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number CCS 2226 05/08/19,” added the Detective Inspector.
